Do these bouquets and dress colors work? Need opinions, please

Hi ladies!

I need to call on your expert opinions, yet again!

We've chosen navy blue as our wedding color, so the girls will be in navy blue dresses (Note - the dress in the picture is not what the girls are wearing, I'm just using it for the color). My dress is the one pictured (sorry bout the model's flat head!). I want to have a pink bouquet. (When I was given different sample bouquets to hold, pink just seemed to make my face 'glow.')

I've been trying to figure out what color bouquet would look nice with the girls' dresses, and finally found a deep plum/red rose bouquet which you see in the picture. (Yellow flowers seemed to stand out too much.)

What do you ladies think? Do all of these colors work?

the bouquet in the picture looks great. I would probably agree that yellow might stand out too much but reds, shades of pink etc would look great with navy!

Honestly, it's kinda hard to tell the colors apart on the BM. They almost look like the same color which I know they're not b/c you said the dress is navy and the bouqet is deep red/plum.
Is that an accurate color match?

What about white flowers with a few of those dark ones scattered in?

I love the deep red bouquet for the BM. Your bouquet color is lovely as well.

I love the pink but I think there is to many colors going on here, I am not fond of the dark flowers with a dark dress.

While I do like the richness of your colors....you have a contrast with the pink and white and very little contrast with the red and navy.....can you break up the red with another color? The colors are beautiful....did you cut out and paste all that together??? What about a coral peachy-pink with the navy?

Thanks for your opinions and suggestions, ladies! Keep them coming!

Here is the bouquet that the BM's bouquet is based on. (I sort of photoshopped the green accents out of the picture above.) I was thinking of using the two shades of red roses in this bouquet for the BMs.

(If anyone has pictures of other bouquets that they think would match well, I would love to see them!)

jvs77 I also have my girls in navy blue outfits, and I am going with mango colored calla lillies (orange and red) and bright orange colored roses. I think that it will be a good contrast against their outfits. I'll be getting married this Sat , so I can post pictures afterwards

As much as I like the dark red roses, I think you should have a contrasting/complimenting color. Why don't you ask your florist? I showed a picture of the dresses to my florist and he suggested some flower colors.

I think a lighter color will stand out more in pictures. I think the deep red blends too much with the navy. IMO. Or keep the deep red but add soft touches of lighter colors for contrast. Your florist should also help you with ideas if you bring in a color of the swatch.

what about a cream colored bouquet for your BMs? or an ivory?

I think if you put more pinks from your bouquet into the BM 's. They are so nice, but seem to dark it gets lost in the color.

I have seen it where the girls are in navy and they have ivory colored flowers. That looks nice.

it could go wither way.. personally i like the darker flowers with the Navy...

Thank you all for your thoughful ideas!! I am now even more confused! (But that's okay!) I will definitely get input from florists too, but am having lots of fun trying to figure out a great combo!

I've been playing around with your suggestions. Below is the original pic, and one with ivory roses, which I like too! More combos are coming, I need to post them separately.

Here is one with brighter red roses that don't blend in as much, and one with a mix of red and pinks - I'm tempted to steal this bouquet idea for myself!

I'm afraid that roses in the orange family may clash with the pink bouquet.

i think maybe the ivory is better....
the navy is pretty with the red, and your dress with the pink but i think the combination is better as the ivory or another color..
