Bridesmaid wears clover green, maid of honor wears clay green. My mom thinks I should forget about green and go with mauve pink (dark pink). She thinks shades of pink blend in better than green. My maid of honor is pregnant and her dress does not come in the color as the bridesmaid dress.
In my opinion........NO In the picture the greens clash to me. THye may look different in person though JMO It could also be the computer

Re: Do these two dresses go together?
Are the dresses the sae fabric? Same designer? A good rule of thumb when mixing shades is to stick to same designer (because fabrics can differ from designer to designer-barijay satin is not same as Dessy satin even if same color) AND the same fabric because then it gives a certain cohesiveness.
I have to agree...I don't think the dress you showed us in green and pink matches the others at all. Sorry honey.

Re: Do these two dresses go together?
Eek It's a tough call. I personally love green and am using two different shades which was very difficult to coordinate. I think two different pinks often go better especially if its from two different designers. So I'd say go pink!

They really don't go together that much. My opinion is try to stick with the same fabric they'll at least blend better together.

I don't think those two greens go together. The first green and the pink looks like it may match nicely.

Re: Do these two dresses go together?
I have to agree witht he others... I don't think the dresses go together too well... first of all the colors don't blend well to me, and it looks like the fabrics are totally different. Sorry!

Re: Do these two dresses go together?
No - you really need to get dresses at the very least made in the same fabric... then the same designer / color - otherwise it won't be a match.

Re: Do these two dresses go together?
Thanks for your honest opinions, they all sound like what my mother has been telling me over and over! The two green are not by the same designer. The materials are different. I think my fiance and I have been talking about this until 2am last night, and we're thinking and think of what to do. Putting the wedding was so easy until this point!

Re: Do these two dresses go together?
Sorry, have to agree with the other ladies - they do not go together - the colors don't coordinate, the styles don't coordinate, and the fabrics are totally different.
I think the halter dress is by Forever Yours, is that right? If it is, I know that Forever Yours has other strapless dresses in a similar style to the shinier strapless dress you posted, but in a similar material to the halter dress. That way you can get same material, same color, but different style dresses. They will go together MUCH better that way.
Good luck!

Re: Do these two dresses go together?
i think pink and green is nice and would go together better than the 2 greens would... more room for error and for not clashing...
