Do they accept US $ at the Bahamas?

or should we get travelers chex??

We are going to Atlantis Paradise Island at Nassau

ETA: sorry if this is a stupid question! Our first time to the Bahamas

Yes they do and make sure if you go into the town to the markets you bargin!!!! they will do anything for a buck!

First off - you are going to love it there! Me and FH have been there about 4 times. The Bahamian Dollar and the US Dollar are interchangeable, so they will accept both.
