i'm doing choc fountain and i think they did charge tax and svc charge on that.

Ahh...gotcha. In that case I don't see why they wouldn't. I think you would get charged a gratuity and tax on anything at the hall.

I think they add up everything, your initial cost for the RH, and anything added that is extra (chair covers, VH, etc.), and then add tax and grat to that. I am not positive though, but I think that is what they do.

i know!!! not to mention that my location has a site fee and they even charge tax and service charge on that!!! seriously - service charge on a site fee??!!!! how does that even make sense?

they get you for everything.
