It is totally up to you. I didn't wear a necklace and my girls didn't wear necklaces either. I bought them all earrings and bracelets.

It doesn't need one. However I think a necklace can really flatter the dress.

It's up to you, a delicate necklace that isn't too long would look nice. Personally, I love the no necklace look, great earrings look, though.

nah, my dress is similar except its tea length. the issue I have with neckalces is the stupid clasp always turns to the front!

i personally like strapless dresses with no necklaces. I probably won't wear one, and I think I am giving my girls earrings and a bracelet

My BMs wore the same dress; because I couldn't find any earrings for them that I liked, I got necklaces (they weren't overpowering, just small pearl pendants). But I think that if they wear the crystal earrings, they won't need anything else.

Ditto - I never like necklaces w/strapless dresses - it takes away from the neckline of the dress, and earrings/bracelet should be the only acceosry.

some of my girls have strapless and some have halter so I'm getting the strapless ones long necklaces with a smaller loop and the halter ones a standard necklace with a drop to flow with the dip of the halter. Both will be pretty plain- silver chains with blue pearls...
