Same here. Lets put it this way I like Britney...he DOES NOT!!!!!! he says he will be in charge of the song list, i told him to kiss it!!!

We haven't gotten into that yet but we have thought about it. Nothing set in stone but no winning ideas either.

All I know is we are doing the Father/Daughter & Mother/Son Dance at the same time to the same song.

If FMIL don't like it then well....

I'm letting my father pick the father/daughter dance song. I'll probably end up picking the others...but with 2 yrs away...I dont know b/c a new song might come out that I love.

Same with me! We'll probably just wait till 2010 to pick out the songs. Hopefully something will come up we both fall in love with.

Let's see...luckily FH and I have similar tastes in music so it's been easy so far.

Our first dance is Oasis wonderwall, we are walking out to Godsmack's Awake, the FG and RB will walk out to House of Pain's Jump Around.....that was their request. My niece and stepson (oh lordy i said it) LOVE dancing to that song. Because we don't have the bridal party going to have the DJ play it a little longer so they can break it down on the dance floor and show of their 'skills' as stepson likes to say (he has dancing skills and karate skills oh and now bike riding skills). Still trying to figure out what the parents will be walking out to. Figure they'll all walk out to the same song. Thinking U2's a beautiful day but still not positive. I am CLUELESS on what to dance to my father to. I wanted a led zeppelin song but they all sound incestuous. He refuses to dance to elvis (I love elvis), thinking Barry Manilow's You are my child but we'll see.

I have full control over all music for the wedding-as FH is deaf and has no idea who any artist are and doesn't really care. So this is going to probably be the hardest thing for me to plan out all the music for the wedding.

So far, i have decided on the first dance song: Nothings gonna stop us now by starship (song from the movie Mannequin)
Cake Cutting Song: Grow Old with Me-Adam Sandler
