What do u guys think about these invitations? My overall 'theme' (if u want to call it that) is storybook romance. NOT princess-y but like children's storybook, classic romance like forest-y like, sweet innocence. You know like those Jim Helm ads in the magazines with all the pink or lavender flowers all over..... I got a sample and they are really what I want, The only thing is the card is separate from the outside liner. I tried glue-ing it but not only was it a PIA but i didn't like the look after wards. We are just finalizing the ceremony site but I have to get a move on. help!
Oh, ink color would be light purple instead of gray.

I'm going to forward you the instructions I've been giving people about posting web images easily...
They're really pretty and elegant. I hope they're not too expensive, though. It seems like you could DIY invitations very similar to this. Make sure the purple is dark enough to be legible. We just went with black font for that reason on our invites. But I love the crumpled / rustled look. Most of all YOU have to love them!

The purple ink color is darker than lavender and lighter than like an eggplant color. I forgot the exact name of it. FMIL does favors and invites as her business (yes, i'm succumbing and letting her do them b/c FH and I are poor) so she gets them at wholesale cost. Definitely save a lot there. I have gotten a few other samples but this one is the one I feel is me and what I want our wedding to say. FH couldn't care less about these, to him its ink on paper. I did let him pick the font though, see compromise!!!

the bow on the sample is much smaller, its all nice and fluffy in the above pic but not as big in person and it lays kinda flat.
