do u need a marriage license from the same town as your getting married in?
someone (from NJ) was telling me her brother had a hard time becuase they got their marriage license in the town they live or are getting married in but needed it the other way around? hope this makes sense what i'm saying.... anyway---- is this true?
do u have to go to a specific town to get your license?
also do they all allow you to do it 60 days before?

Not that I know of - we were told we could get ours anywhere as long as it was from the state we were getting married in. A marriage license should be obtained no earlier than 60days from the day of your wedding.

i live in sayville so i'm going to go to islip town hall. but i believe as long as you're getting married in the state of new york you can get your license from any town hall.
call your town hall to double check, or go to NYS website..

It has to be from the state you are getting married in
this. We got our Marriage License in Queens and were married in the Bronx.

We're getting married at Oheka too! But we got our license from Manhattan. So nope!
