do u still have momentos from 'past loves'

i have this box where i put all special things, like love letters, poems, pictures.. lately i feel this need to um exercise the demons and i feel like burning some of it lol..but i kno down the road i might regret it..do u guys keep this kinda stuff??

I've done both over the years ... sometimes I regret not having a lette from so & so where he finally realized what he had lost but I mean, does it really matter that I don't have it? NOPE.

But like you also said, you may get more out of tearing 'em up & letting it go ...

You DEFINATELY won't regret it...I have lots of stuff from ex-boyfriends.
They are in boxes at my dad's. I think it is hysterical to look back on the
love letters and pics from ex's....
With my first ex i threw away most of the stuff he gave me and i regret it to
this day!

After 8 years of Marriage I have to admit I still have my stuff. Some guys I have gold charms that were given to me some pictures a letter or two. I figured if I ever had a daughter I could share with her. Sentimental stuff so when I get older and forget things I can look back. also, this way my kids can see what I was like when I was younger

I don't really, but I recently came across the prom photo album I made, and the cover is a frame & there is a picture of us in it & I don't know if I should keep it. Ther are hearts on the cover & my date was my boyfriend at the time.

Of course, I'd want to keep some prom pictures, so my offspring may mock me, but Ihave the formal portraits. I am wondering if I should just take a few pics outof the album, or at least change the from cover photo to a group shot otr a picture of just me.

I had really nice satin VS pajamas an ex game me, and I gave them away for the simple reason tht he gave them to me & I thgouht it would be weird to wear them with DH around. I think I kept them while I was single, but didn't wear them.

I too still have an old box somewhere in the attic of exes' momentoes. I can't see myself ever throwing it away either. I feel like even though it's all from the past and not all good memories either, it's still a part of who I am today - so I think that's why I hang on to it. I haven't looked at any of it in years though... Honestly, I don't even rememebr what's in the box, just that I still have it somewhere and one day will go back and look at everything again. Funny, the things we can't let go of sometimes...

I have old love letters in a box with the rest of my letters from friends. I only saved the letters from the exs who I've remained friends with. I have some gifts that they had given me as well.

I kept stuff for a long time, and then realized that the things were just being kept in a box that I never looked at. So I chucked it all.

I have things....like a pair of pants I wear on the weekends, a potpourri holder...that's it. I actually have a pic of me and one ex (the one that came back into my life after I started dating DH) in a frame behind some other pics...but it was in that frame at my old job and I just kept putting other photos in front of it.....I don't know why I can't get rid of it.

I always wonder what he's up to....one of my sisters' friends saw him in a bar the other night, so I know he's still on LI and not in Iraq....he's in the Air National Guard and works out at the base in S.Hampton.

I have a box of momentos, letters, etc. in a trunk in the attic. I'm making up a scrapbook of sorts so that Amber can oneday see what geeks mommy dated. I remember coming across something similiar my mom had when I was a kid and I got a HUGE kick out of it. I actually have an opal ring one of mom's boyfriends gave her. I think it's pretty cool.

I have a bunch of stuff, letters from bf's, double heart rings, ankle bracelets (remember those days), pictures, ticket stubs, matchbox covers, cards, etc. but they are all in a box in my bro's attic. I'm quite sentimental & tend to hold onto things, EXCEPT from stiffs that were jerks & I can only remember the bad.

I got rid of all of my stuff from my ex especially from the last Jerk i went out with before Dh. the only thing I have from one of my ex is a sweater and i still wear it, it goe's good with my jeans I wear.
