maybe thats a liittle complicated, but do what you want its your wedding! Why dont you do it as you leave the wedding, and have your attendents do it as they send you off.

I think the guests may get confused.

i'd be very very careful about the sparklers being too near to your dress. The sparks can put little tiny holes in your dress. Maybe you can just have all the guest hold them.

My sister got married July 4th last year and her husband also wanted sparklers. We were a little worried about lighting them and so instead we ordered these sparklers from Oriental trading company. I couldnt find the exact ones, ours did not have the star on top. It turned out very nice, pictures came out great and they were not to expensive
