do u tip for a makeup trial??

i fianlly have an appointment for a makeup trial on manday, YAY!!! so do i tip her?? its $50 because its for airbrushing. do i give her an extra 20%? what do u ladies think?

I actually tried but she wouldn't take it, even when i said no please take it she didn't, but others who used her told me the same, she won't take a tip...but yes i think make up artists should be tipped

I havent done trials yet, but i would think you'd need to tip.

I think the rule is if you're getting it done at a salon (and the girl doing your makeup is not the owner) you do tip. But if it is freelance work then you don't have to. I feel funny not tipping so I tip no matter what

i know me too i feel cheap not tipping. its not at a salon though, i have to drive 45 min to her house which kinda stinks but..oh well. so u think 20% should be fine then?
