Do Wax Seals Break in the mail?

I'm getting pocketfold invites but the pocketfold is plain. I was thinking of getting wax seals to close them, but I'm wondering will they break in the mail? Is it worth it or should I just leave the pocketfold plain?

It won't be a double envelope, just the pocketfold inside of the 'outer' envelope which is fairly thick paper, but not like cardboard thick.

I used wax seals and they were fine. My DH didn't even get them hand stamped like I had asked and just threw them in the mailbin.

Personally I love the look of them! Practice on some paper first.

Where did you get the wax and the seal stamper thing? I've only seen them at Michaels.

I ordered the seal stamper on ebay. It was an 'S' for our last name. Had I had more time, I would've loved a 3 initial one with my first initial, a larger S and Dh's initial.

the wax sticks I ordered from a website like this http://www.nostalgicimpressions.com/Sealing_Waxes_s/1.htm Can't remember if it's the exact one I used since I went through a bunch of them.

I used the actual wax sticks and melted them on the envelope but other girls have used the premade wax seal stickers or the glue gun.

the wax dries very flexible, it doesn't crack like candle wax would. And even if I made a mistake, i could let it dry and peel it off.

I need to find a nice seal stamper now and see if I can practice and do these neatly before my invites come in.

i want to do our first name initials I think.

They also sell the wax that is actually hot glue. Supposedly that stays better in the mail. I have heard that you don't even need to double envelope it...
