This girl has my same wedding dress...she didn't tie the bow traditionally...I am not even sure what to call it...but do we like it? I am doubting the bow and sash...but it cant be removed..theres an ugly seam under it. SHould I just leave it along and tie it normally? I was even thinking of shortening it.
IMHO I think it looks like it has come undone. What about getting a belt that doesn't require a bow in the back? Something that snaps into itself so you don't have anything hanging?

Where can I get one of those? Its hard to find something that goes with my dress (because of the color) and the beading.

i think gina made a good suggestion. you can look on etsy... someone there can always do a custom one for you. you'll get a better price there than at a bridal place... theyll rape you $$$ at a salon.
but if you dont go that route, i'd NOT do it like in the picture. to me it looks sloppy.

Maybe see if they can alter it that way... All they would have to do it cut it, sew the edges to make it look finished and add snaps to the back.
Or check Etsy like Becki said... people can make anything on their. What color would it need to be champagne?
