I am def. inviting my FMIL and my soon to be aunts...they all like to party and are all fun so I am going to invite them... but if you feel weird having them there for the whole time you can just invite them to dinner or things you are planning on doing during the day and then you and your girls go out later for some 'fun'

well my mom is really old school so she is not coming lol.. But FMIL is single and ready to mingle so I was thinking of inviting her and if I invite her then I have to invite FH stepmom.. so would it look bad if my mom doesnt go?

No Ma'am lol ...she will be front and center at the shower but as I plan to delve into a drunken stupor she will not be invited to my Bach Party! .... I love her to death but um, I want get foot loose and fancy free lol

Oh wait you said Mothers in general..my mom is hip so she can come if she wants but FH's mom....no way lol

im not..i mean im sure some do..but the idea of my mom or worse fmil watchin me do shot after shot while i drool on myself belting out living on a prayer is just not for me

FMIL - no way. She is not young or hip... she wouldn't appreciate or understand anything...and it would be a very strange. She's wayyy too old school.

FSIL's - IDK! They range in ages from like 5 years older than me all the way up to like 20 years older than me (his oldest sister is in my mothers generation and his mom is more my grandmothers generation - his mom had him when she was older and my mom had me when she was younger). I guess this is up to the girls. FSIL's mainly have thier own families and kids and stuff.. so I don't know if they would be able to go. It might be nice though.

My Mom - IDK. She is young and hip and likes to party.. more than I do! And althought I can drink and stuff infront of her.. I'm usually not as 'free' when she is around. Nothing to do with her at all... it's more me.. and it's not so much that I feel uncomfortable around her it's just different when she is around with me and my friends than when she isn't. But truth be told I'm sure she will probably come because I KNOW she wants to ... and I can't not have her be invited knowing that she really wants to come.. and would genuinely have a great time!

So I guess it depends.
