I mean as far as like farting in front of each other ( ), going to the bathroom in front of each other, burping etc...

I know a girl who has been married for 4 years or so and to this day has to leave the the room and goes to the downstairs bathroom when she has to um 'go to the bathroom'. That doesnt seem normal to me. I guess I just feel if you are married and especially in your own house you should do whatever you want.

We dont hold back ANYTHING! Were not embarassed at all. He even walks in and gives me a kiss when Im using the bathroom sometimes.

i love this convo.. im so not a lady!! haha lets jut say i grew up with 4 people and 1 SMALL bathroom you learn to get over things really fast.. FH and I's first date he farted really loud and said 'look this is how i am lets just get that out of the way!' i almost died but it was really funny and broke the ice. I can burp and 'toot' with the best of them i only hold back infront of the in-laws but im sure that wont last they are comfy in front of me 'tooting' away! FH is 'proud' of my farts some times hes like WOW BABY THAT WAS YOU?? GOOD JOB!!! i just really hate doing #2 infront of each other.. but hey if its an emergency im not going to hold it and neither is he!

We don't go to the bathroom in front of each other. He is just not comfortable with it. But I think that is just how he is, I don't feel it is a comfort level issue.

yup almost ten years going strong and NONE of those things have happened in front of each other!

well burping but the other things nope!

I told FH no farting in front of me until after we are married..my ex didnt ever at all in front of me and likewise and we were together 9 years.

we do everything in front of each other. I try not to pass gass too much in front of him, but we live together so it happens!

almost nothing is off limits for FH and I in the potty area. It's not like I seek him out but if he doesn't leave...oh well..get ready for the 'smackdown' (what FH calls #2 )

i have no idea but he has never farted in front of me or even talked about going to the bathroom and he is the guy so if HE isn't doing those things i am not going to start doing them

for the first 6 years i was really embarrassed about all that stuff...but when i kind of lived w him i eventually got over it and we just let it all out now.

when one of us farts we look at each other and giggle. it's funny.

Once I stole FH's cell and texted his brother and best friend and said 'I made a meatball in my pants' as a joke. It was soooo funny. They both called him and were like 'DOOOD? W T F?' It's been our on-going joke since then.

So I told FH about this thread and he said, 'I'm sneaking on to that message board and telling all the girls that you made a meatball in your pants!'
