Do you believe bad things happen to bad people?

I do believe that bad things happen to bad people. But is it really wrong to smirk when it happens? I have a woman I work with in my office who likes to make my life very difficult.
Today she drove into the building! Hearing about it made me smirk and giggle a bit (but not until after I heard she was physically ok..I am not THAT mean).

Anyway, back to the question...do you believe bad things happen to bad people?

Some friends of mine call it, getting hit by the karma bus.

Whenever we heard a piece of bad news happening to someone that tormented one of us, we would say Beep, Beep - Karma Bus.

First of all.... LMAO! Who drives into a building?!?! She must feel pretty dang stupid right about now - I'd be laughing my arse off if I was you! You should leave business cards for driving schools on her desk, anonomously of course

so, to answer your question - I'm a strong believer in karma, and I do feel that people eventually get what's coming to them - good or bad. I try to be as decent of a person as I possibly can, because I feel that kindness will come back to me in one form or another.

I always strive to 'do the right thing' b/c the Karma can come back to you! I love the 'karma bus, beep beep', just love it!

MY DH is not a karma believer, or 'things happen for a reason beleiver, but I am bigtime, but lately, he is showing signs of CHANGE!

I had cancer about 14 yrs ago and I made a pact w/ God, if he kept me healthy I would return my grocery cart (any cart) to the store's door for life, well, I am STILL returning the carts to the door after each shopping jaunt. When we had the wedding and my father met my FH, he asked, 'Does she still return the carts' and DH said YES.....I hope that this is a good Karma thing in my life---and I hate shopping in the rain and real cold weather knowing I am walking in the rain/cold back to the store w/ the cart--but I do it.

We notice it because there are more GOOD people in the world than BAD people and our reaction is always 'oh my, how could that happen to so&so??' It's always shocking when something happens to a good person.
It's not always shocking when something happens to a bad person.

I used to believe in Karma, but I've seen so many good people dealing with bad things that I now feel like we all share the 'wealth'.

I've cursed every job place that has screwed me. Whenever I worked somewhere where I was treated poorly, something eventually happened to the place. Usually they go out of business. Mostly happened in the mall places I worked.

Cacique
Sterns
Speedo
The last three are no longer there anymore. Muahahahahaha.

Usually mean people usually get what the deserve too. Unfortunately nothing has happened to my previous boss yet. I keep waiting for karma to get back at him and he gets fired or something.

i hope it happens...but i hardly ever see it...

1 time, a car flew past me doing 90 or so on ocean pkwy...

5 mins later...i saw him pulled over. i thought that was classic.

That would make me giggle too...I once witnessed a man in the Stop n Shop parking lot drive forward over a cement barrier instead of in reverse..so the front end of his car was leaning down and the tail end was in the air I was trying so hard not to laugh bc clearly the man was mortified and his car was stuck but I can't help it...

But to answer your question...yes, I believe what goes around comes around! So...I am sure that since I witnessed that at Stop N Shop I have had my share of emb. moments!
