Lately (past year or so) Ive started to buy more and more organic food. I think about what my daughter is eatting and starting to get a little freaked out about all the chemicals (milk with growth hormones). What do you buy?

I'd like to buy organic meats but they're pretty expensive. I buy some organic things, like tea, almond butter, soaps, shampoo, stuff like that. I don't buy organic produce, but I wash my produce with a special veggie wash.
You're a good mom to be concerned about what goes into your little girl's body!

I try to buy as much organic food as possible, but I concentrate on organic meat, eggs and milk products- I do not want to eat animal products with chemicals in them.
I concentrate on eating whole foods- nothing packaged or pre-prepared- those tend to have chemicals in them..

We tend to buy more organic veggies in the summer and fall....when there are fruit/veg stands on just about every road up here! Ideally, I'd buy it year round but the quality and selection are poor in the winter months of maine...not to mention I can't afford it.
As far as feeding our daughter, we always bought her organic baby food. Now that she's older we get her organic mac n cheese by Annie's. That stuff is awesome! ANNIE'S

organic is stupidly more expensive and it pisses me off. i used to work in a health food store for 5 years and got stuff at good prices or ate the deli part for free, but now, i can't afford regular food let alone organic.
