Do you choose your hairstyle before or after you pick out a veil??
Any advice on this?? Not sure what hairstyle I want yet and I also have not chosen my veil. What do you choose first? I had always envisioned wearing my veil low - like maybe under a low chignon or sophisticated bun. But when I tried my dress on, the veil actually looked nice sitting a little higher on my head. Would this affect my hairstyle?? I am not doing a tiara - will probably pick out a nice hairpin set or hair clip. Where do I start!!??? Thanks....

I chose my hairstyle first, then when I went gown shopping, I wore it half up/down like I wanted (not how it will be the day of hair since I'm nto a hairstylist, but just to get the idea), and then mentioned it to the salesperson who helped pick out the right accessories.

Well, I'm not sure how your supposed to do it but this is what I did and I hope it works out okay.
I know I want to wear my hair pulled back. Maybe in a low bun. But I'm not exaclty sure. I was sure that I wanted a tiarra so I went a bought one. While I was there the salesperson sold me a veil. I knew I wanted a simple one - elbow lenght- and he told me that I didn't need to decide now if the veil would be underneath the hair or above. He said the difference was only and inch or two. My plan is too take the veil and tiarra to my hairperson (when I pick one) and see what she suggests. I hope it works out.

I always thought I'd wear my veil low as well, but it looks much better on me if I wear it high. I plan on wearing mine all night, so no one will really see my hair anyway...
I haven't picked my specific hairstyle yet, but I know it will be some sort of bun. I bought my veil and plan on bringing it to my hair trial so we can experiment a little with what looks best.

I never wanted a veil, Everytime I tried one on I felt like a drag queen! But when I found my dress last weekend, the girl that was helping me, took matters into her own hands and pulled my hair out of the ponytail and stuck a veil and tiara on my head! I loved it with my hair down! I think that you should try veils/tiaras on and play with your hair, it makes a diffeerence!
