Re: do you consider yourself...
No I do not. But I have found that when a woman wants her wedding to be a certain way, she is automatically dubbed a 'bridezilla' simply because it is a current catchphrase. I think it is unfair to call a woman demanding about the one day that she will remember for the rest of her life. We all dream of this day.
When she becomes unreasonable, like my sister did when she made us all wear the same brand of panty hose so the cast of light would look the same on all of our legs, then YES 'bridezilla' is warranted.

Definitely! But I think it's more my passion towards the whole event rather than craziness. I feel like its one long PMS trip before my wedding day...LOL

I'm assuming it wasn't long dresses? Do you have pics? What would have happened if someone was tanned or too pale?

Yes. This was 15 years ago and we wore black cocktail dresses (short) with black panty hose (they did that then). She wanted us all to wear the same brand because there are, in her words, 'different kinds of black'. There was day sheer, night sheer, opaque, glimmery, off black etc. She was afraid that when they took long, full body shots that our legs would look funny if one wore opaque and one wore glimmery day sheer. What she failed to realize, was that the BP ranged in size from 2-20 and no matter if we all wore the same brand in the same shade, the legs of a size 20 and the legs of a size 2, in black panty hose, looks vastly different. Now she is planning her son's Bar Mitzvah and she is a MOM-zilla. It hasn't gotten better.

Not yet-and hopefully I wont have to be!
But FILs are making it hard by saying that there are certain things that HAVE to be done traditionally...I think by the time it rolls around I will be one!
And if it gets really bad maybe I will wear a red dress and put my BMs in tye dyed dresses-last minute to see who has a major fit!
Id love to see their faces!

Re: do you consider yourself...
I think that its true when you express what you want you are labeled bridezilla. However i think it goes with anything if your going to do something you want to do it right. So much time and planning goes into this so you want everything right. some people get crazy. There is alot of stress espeically the closer you get.

Not at all. But I do have a ways to go yet before the big day. But I doubt I will convert.

Re: do you consider yourself...
I have my moments, but I wouldn't consider myself a bridezilla. I think once we get closer to the day, I might become one. It's more obsession now, and this website feeds it.

Re: do you consider yourself...
I have to say, I'm really striving NOT to be a bridezilla. There are certain details that I want in my wedding, but I'm taking care of those myself (like all the DIY projects), and the other stuff that involves my bridesmaids I am trying to be flexible. I feel bad that I want them to wear the same or similar shoes, but I'll make it up to them by paying for their hair to be done however they want (as well as getting them awesome gifts). I want everyone that is helping with the wedding in any way to know that they are very much appreciated. As long as you do that, I don't think you can be a bridezilla.

I TOTALLY AGREE!!!!!!!
My sister calls me a bridezilla. Which I think is wrong. I just want what I have always dreamed about.
