Do you eat...

The heal of the bread???

I dont. I throw if away and I feel guilty that someone goes hungry as Im chucking it in the garbage. I just want to make sure Im not the only one.

my mom eats the heal of the bread in the car when she picks up hot italian bread before she comes home!!!! LOL...all my life growing up I assumed that the bread came that way because our bread was always like that at home!!

I don't like the heel either. I usually throw it outside for the birds...well...I should say the squirrels, because they alway's seem to get it first!!

Well, I usually will eat it, but, with some kinds of bread - Rye, italian, french - that is my favorite part!!! White and wheat breads I will eat it, but only cause I feel bad wasting it.
