Do you ever feel like LIW..

is like a huge group of ur gfs? lol.. we laugh..we joke..we cry..we look fwd to chatting everday and catchiing up on each others lives....i mean i kno we dont all 'know' each other..but i truly think about every1 on liw ALOT and always wondering whats going on with certain pple. Plus i Met FeliciaDA on here and shes one of my best friends in real life now.. Its just so odd to me sometimes how a website originally made to help plan weddings, has stemmed into a whole lot more..do u think ANY other website has this kind of comrodary (dont kno how to spell that word lol) ok just my comment for the day

I know what you mean michi. I don't know about the relationships on other websites, but I do think of the LIW ladies as my girlfriends, even some people who I've never met.

I was actually thinking this morning about an old friend who I recently met up with again after 7 years. We had nothing in common anymore, and it was awkward. I was thinking about how friendships change over the years, and one of the first things that popped into my head was that the LIW ladies are my most recent group of new friends.

I completely agree and feel the same. Althought I still dont know most of you personally but I know I will at some point, I know I consider all of you my friends.
I looking forward to future gtg.

I couldn't agree more ... I do think we all are a very special group and we care about each other..

We all know who has a new job, who has been sick... when someone is going on vacation or getting married or having a baby .. we're like a little family. We're here to support and encourage (despite the 'drama' ). I do think its very different that your average 'chat board' and that you really get invested in one another's lives and do like to 'check in' when you haven't been around in awhile!

And I am so fortunate that I met Michi and we have since become best friends

So true!! I truly do care about so many of you I feel like LIW has opened up an opportunity for me to meet people that I would have not normally met in my day to day life. Such great people with awesome senses of humor, diversity within their jobs, lives, etc. I feel like it's my own 'place' outside of my regular life where I can share things and offer support to those who many need it. I feel like the people I 'know' on here, I can really count on when the chips are down.

I ALWAYS FEEL LIKE THAT. ITS LIKE WE ARE A HUGE FAMILY. THE FIRST THING THAT I DO WHEN I GET ON THE COMPUTER I SIGN ON AND LOGIN IN TO LIW'S TO SEE WHAT EVERYONE HAS GOT TO SAY. TO ALL OF YOU

um, ALL THE TIME!!!

I like the way you guys always let me vent. I havent been able to get on for G-D knows how long at work and I am still limited. I was having such withdrawal pains. I tried when I got home but its not that easy as I hoped it would be.

I really wanted to meet some of you guys which is hard for me but now that Ihave a computer at work AGAIn, Ill try once in awhile to get on and chat

You guys are great and fun to talk to and sweet too. It made me feel so good when you guys told me you missed me when I was away.

I feel like we are family on here and i do consider you all my friends! like jenn(redhead) i feel like i known you forever but i never met you. you all even Let me complain about my job when i get aggravated with it and like today when i got my test results for my thyroid which i am estactic about!!! my levels are good and i can stay on my 50 mg meds.YES!!!!!! sorry for the caps. but yes i really do consider you all to be a friend of mine and i would love to meet you all someday. love you all!!!!!
