I keep looking at old pics of myself for motivation and get sad at how much weight I put on!!
Here's one from a vacation in Arizona 2 years ago- this is me at 135 lbs (50 lbs ago)
ETA: Sorry I've been so negative lately- I think the thought of trying on dresses being a lot heavier than I want to be is getting discouraging- but I don't want to wait!
Yea i do sometimes .....b/c i was in better shape in high school ..it sucks ...but you look great!!!!!

Thanks, but I don't feel that way!! I have to keep saying I have time to get back to where I was. Thank God for you girls, seriously!! Sometimes I get the generic 'I love you just the way you are' answer from FH and I know he's really saying 'get off your lazy a$$ and do something about it then' lol

I totally know the feeling...... I used to be a stick...then med school and residency...jesus i must have gained 40lbs!!!
I guess i have a small frame cause i'm around 135-140 now and look fat (at least chubby!). I just want a flat belly

I could complain about this all day--but not really motivated to do anything about it. I really won't try on dresses until I hit a certain number. Probably will start trying them on in January so I guess I better move it. Just--never on the top of the priority list..just trying to work and go to school and survive..

absolutely. you are definitely not alone. i refuse to try on dresses till i hit a certain number also...thank goodness for time with a 2013 wedding!

LOL>> i have my dress and its a size 6 and when i put it on i was like omg i have to lose some weight ...it was tight it sucks
and for some reason i eat like a pig LOL..im so bad i have to stop..and im in the nutrition field ...what a joke

What size are the sample dresses? My fear is that I'm going to be too big for them and then I can't try on what I want to- Damn my big a$$!!!

They come in all different sizes.......im surprised my fat a$$ fit in a size 6>>>

OMG- I feel the same way I have lost 8-10lbs and I feel great I want to loose another 5-10 and I will be HAPPY!!!!!!!! but I have been soo lazyyy since the summer started I have not been able to bring myself to the gym after work!!!!
BUT.. I swear once I try on dresses and see this nasty gut through my dress its going to make me run to the gym!
