Do you ever think of the state of the world today...

Do you ever think of the state of the world today...

And worry that you will be bringing your children into this and then worry about what it will be like for them??

I was pondering this today...and it made me so sad

I do and when I start to get upset I remind myself how every generation feels this way. Every generation faces new obstacles and new dangers. Unfortunately, all you can do is raise your children with all the love you can give and enjoy the gift of parenting.

YES!

I was actually just at the gym and FOX news was on. they were talking about Iran and possibility of them having nukes within 10 yrs time and it got me thinking about what the future holds. I remember right after 9/11 my friend was trying to get preggo and said 'why would I want to bring a child into this world'?

fast forward to today, she had a son. but it definitely makes you think.

it's so sad!!!!

Think about this:

My parents gave birth to me in the middle of the war in Vietnam. I asked my mom what she was thinking and how she felt about the war. She told me, that life goes on and you have to live and do whats best for your family. I would agree. They had nukes in the 40's and the world did not end. 9/11 was truly horrific but it doesn't keep me from living life and moving away from the one country, state and city that I was born in.
