Do you feel like you have a huge wedding party and no help?????I have help from my best friend and my fh but I have to always to tell him what to do lol he's cute ....but I feel like I have no help and my MOH is my sis and she does'nt live here ......does anyone else kinda feel alone in this planning part????

girl I'm with you! I have 7 Bm's and not one has said 'Hey how's the wedding plans going?'. My MOH cancelled the 1st ever BM's dress shopping... and never said sorry nor has even asked 'so when can we reschedule?'. Mind you I made the appt. based on her availibility! I have to take her to the hall where they are having my Bridal Shower so that she can reserve the place.. my mom is paying for the hall... So it's just me & FH.. doing EVERYTHING... but that's ok.. it is my wedding after all. I was kinda complaining to mom about all of this a few other things.. and she said to me 'Chrissy, no one will care about your wedding more than you' and it's sad but true. so everything time I get no cooperation.. I keep chanting my mom's spoken words.. and it's calms me down.. so the phrase 'No one will care about your wedding more than you' has become my mantra.

I feel like that, I haven't actually asked anyone for help except my fiancee, and that was only deciding things. I wanna talk about it everyday with my MOH...but she is going through some personal stuff right now, so that would be selfish of me. But since mine is still over a year away, I'm trying not to let it get to me. Hopefully by the time it is a year away, my FH will have picked the groomsmen and his bestman

I'm sorry to say it like this ...but I am so happy to hear that other people are going through what I am....I think they feel that because it's so far away there's no need to ask how everything is going ...don't they know that I think about it every second of the day!!!!!:

You'll find that almost everyone on here feels the same way or has felt the same way. I am 43 days away and while I can say I got 'some' help..I can't say it was the help I expected. My FH has been the helper for the most part (rare..but possible). You'll find that although they are all excited when they hear you have gotten engaged..when it comes down to planning and helping...fugghedaboutit!! Don't stress..no matter what you will be beautiful and your day will as well!

i feel like i have no help and i have 9 girls not including me or FG no one seems to be to thrilled about it...i talk to them and there like ya whatever... there is nothing to really do about this but what for there turn so they know how you feel and what your going through....

I have 5 girls that are more then willing to help and I just haven't asked them to do anything. Everybody keeps yelling at me to have them help, but I get a lot done at night after my second job around 11pm (I am a night owl), so I can't really call on them then. Well I am sure their will be a lot to do closer to the day that they can help me with.
I'm sorry you are not getting help from the girls! Hopefully they help out soon!!!!!

DEFINETLY!!!! i have a bridal party of 8 girls and THREE of them are probably the only ones that could give a crap!!! it is so frustrating.... i just keep reminding myself that they're young and working & in school and that their minds just arent level with the whole 'my best friend is getting married' thing lol.... i know they love me - but at the same time carelessness is NOT appreciated!!!! i definetly know how u feel! they'll see when it's their wedding!!!

i had 12 bm's..
there were only a few who really knew how to be a bm
it is ok though, i didnt pick them for their abilities on how to be a bm, i picked them cause i loved them.

I didn't pick these people to help me. That is what I have FH, my mom and my sister for. It's nice if they help but it shouldn't be expected. We are the ones getting married. JMO

I have only a MOH. But it's been my FH that's my biggest help. He's been there for everything and helps with my crafts, all my endless runninng around. (Even drove down to AC for me to see a sample of my dress) And he is the best ear when I am stressing!

yes, everyone is is so busy with their own lives (which I can;t blame them) I have my mom, and my FH helping out with everything.
