Do you feel like a grown up?

Do you feel like a grown up?

And screw all that 'I'm a kid at heart' crap, we all know everyone has an inner child of some sort.

I'm talking about really feeling capable and fairly in control. Or do you feel like you're playing dress up and praying that no one calls you out on it?

every month when it's time to pay bills, I feel like a grown up and wish I were 12 again!!!
my daughter doesn't know how GOOD she's got it!! OH to be young again!!!

Sometimes I do, more now since i have my own child but deep inside I feel like if I'm younger than what I am.

most of the time i feel like a grown up..
Now looking at houses and paying bills and stuff...

but i have break out kid moments that i try to make it as often as possible...as to make the days better...

I voted sometimes.
Sometimes I very mature, and I handle myself very well. People can't beleive how old I am.
Other times when managing people, doing stuff for my house or financial stuff I totally feel like I'm playing dress up!

I voted sometimes, when I am at work I feel like an adult, but when I get home I act like a kid sometimes...I can be very mature and then very goofy ...depends on the situation

Sometimes I feel like a grown up... like when I do 'responsible' adult things like pay the bills on times, get my oil changed, and increase my insurance coverage. But most times I feel like I'm still around 19 yrs old. Especially since I'm the youngest one in my dept at work. When I sit in meetings with bigwigs I secretly wonder if I'm going to be asked to leave the room because I'm not considered a 'grownup' .

That is so the case. I so don't feel that I should be making half the decisions I do.

absolutely! I even think I look eliek a child. liek, by hands are still short & chubby. ANd I never feel pulled together. And I awlways think of peopel I speak to ( wedign vendors, business vendors, clients, etc) as 'adults'!

ETA- DH pays the bill & deals witht he super, realtor, etc.

I just watch tv for a younger demographic & even DH asks me if I am too old to shop in Sephora & Anthropolige, bn/c whenever he meets me there he always sees teens running around.

I voted sometimes but lately I feel as if it is all catching up to me...as a wife, a homeowner, etc. I'll be 28 this year and I am like - OMG -

Most of the time, yes I feel like DH & I are playing house and my mom or his mom is going to walk in and say 'no, no, no, this is how you do it! You're doing this all wrong'

I totally feel like a kid. At work I feel so out of place sometimes like my mom brought me there for the day to keep me busy.

I think I feel more like a grown up now than before being married. I feel like people take me seriously as a married woman. People who are the same age and single aren't thought of the same way

I think I'm very good at faking it, but I look like I'm 15 so that is sort of counter-productive!

Princess... I was definitely all gossip-cakes last night... and you didn't see me sprint to the pet store when Mrs.Mac said you were looking at puppies!

I voted sometimes because DH and I can sure be goofballs and I don't remember grownups acting like us when I was little! Although they probably did!

I was just thinking about that the other day actually. My mindset is like a teenagers with alot more responsibilities. I know I'm going to have a very hard time turning 30...

even though i'll be 30 soon, i don'tfeel grown up all the time. maybe its cause i look like i'm 12, that people don't take me seriously. but i can't exactly tattoo my age on my forehead. i mean i do adult things, pay the bills, save $$ for wedding and a house, but i don't quite feel like a grown up yet
