Do you get to keep the vases??

My parents are saying when the wedding is over people keep the centerpieces. My florist mentioned how they 'lend' the vases that the flowers are gonna be in. Am I right??? Do people get to take the centerpieces home, vase and all?

CENTERPIECES AS IN THE FLOWERS YES....VASES NO NO NO...THEY WILL ACTUALLY CHARGE YOU IF ANY GO MISSING ALA ANY GUESTS TAKE THE VASES...THIS HAPPENDED TO MY SISTER LAST YEAr
but the person who took it actually returned it to her so so didnt get charged but the florist was going to charge her and her husband i believe 150 for the vase....crazy!!!

Thats what I figured. It wouldnt make sense. They wouldnt listen to me!!

i would say make sure with the florist and in just in case have a price per vase so you know ahead of time...

you need a vase guard to make sure no guests take them home

some do, but i guess thats acounted in the price. Our friend had tall vases with callilillies in them and people were told they could take them home

I asked a florist this sunday and she said that we will be buying the vases. I think some florist rent out the vases to you so just check with the florist.

I bought my own vases from A.C. Moore and they were really cheap, I was ablr to pick exactly what I wanted and the florist is only charging me for actual flowers

Well, Im using my friends cousins flower shop and they are giving me an INCREDBILE deal. So Im pretty sure the vases arent included. Im trying to figure out how IM going to get a room full of Puerto Ricans not to steal centerpieces or even silverware for that matter.

we are actually buying the vases so people can take them. from the florists

some places do let you keep them...usually when they are low CPs. others are just loaners you have to check with the florist

lol, all I know is at my sis's wedding everybody took cps...and she didn't get charged for the vases. for $75-125 a cp...that had very well better cover the vases too.

ive heard that some florists borrow the vases , or only use them for the weddings but need them back.
Some allow you to take the centerpiece (vases & flowers all together) home because they dont need them back.
You would have to askyour florist.

lol then i must have some puerto rican in me too cause i love to take the CPs home from wedding
my wedding will be about half puerto rican too, so imma have the same problem if they cant take them
