to your FH? He just called to tell me he wants to test drive a new truck this weekend and I told him I didn’t think it was so important to do right now, esp. since we can’t afford a new car until after the wedding. He got a little irritated and told me that I scolded him…I feel sometimes I have to “reel” him in, but maybe I should just go with it. What do ya girls think?

I ALWAYS feel like I have a child in my house.........Especially when I'm picking up the x-box controllers off the floor.

If anything sometimes I think it's the opposite for FH and I. I am really a kid at heart, and really spontaneous, and can get really, really silly.
He sometimes needs to bring me back to Earth.
I'm glad someone can!

Absolutely!!! Maybe just go with him to look at it and come to the agreement that after the wedding, when the budget wasn't so tight, you would both decide?

It's one of the very, very, very few things we fight about. I shouldn't have to mother him and I do not want to but he is SO irresponsible and if I don't nag, we'd be up a certain creek.

OMG... i tell him i feel like his mommy all the time... i have to remind him to do everything, tell him what he 'chores' are or things he said he would help with in the house would not get done unless i do it! i must say.... he is starting to get better at this now that we have had the house over a year... but he still needs a mama's love!

Re: Do you girls ever feel like a mommy…
The reason Im even getting married this year is because he told me he was building a custom bike and was going to cost over 20 G's- I didnt know he had that much banked. I said Hell no we get married then you build you bike. We are both ridiculous, We have the prob of doing what we each want But he is the more responsible one but he lacks follow throu. (pardon my mis-spelling)

i have to say after getting a puppy...i def wanna put the baby plans on hold i think. Dealing with a puppy is like dealing with a kid and its exhausting! and then the boys just top it off!

Re: Do you girls ever feel like a mommy…
alllll the time. although it alternates and sometimes he is more of the 'parent' but yes, especially since FH is a VERY picky eater and i am either constantly trying to get him to eat more or telling the waiter at the restaurant what NOT to put in FH's food!
