we've already got BM, GM, and FG gifts.... still working on RB.... don't know what a 5 year old boy would like, other than a toy... maybe I'll get him legos...
but what about an usher? A good friend of mine will be an usher... she likely won't attend the rehearsal dinner that friday (becuase she's an OOt'er and likely will be working a full day and traveling in the evening).
Should I get her a gift? I feel like I should, but I don't even know when I'd give it to her. I intend to give her a corsage to wear, but I'm thinking about a light shawl or scarf....
what are you doing?

Re: do you give a gift to an usher?
my groomsmen served as the ushers, but i did have two friends hand out the programs.... and no, i didn't give them anything. maybe i was wrong not too. . . .i remembered last minute that i needed someone to hand out the programs! i think the corsage is a nice gesture... but that's all that's probably necessary... if you want to give something small like a bottle of wine or the scarf idea, that's fine too and very thoughtful
