I'm mildly concerned about one of our vendors. We had a phone conference last night to recap final details and I was trying to stress some very important key points...and he would say 'yeah sure, no problem, I got it'...very passive and relaxed. I don't think he really understands the importance of things I was asking him. I've had a bad gut feeling about this vendor for a long time too...
Is anyone else 'worried' about a vendor???

Yes, especially after a recent review on here about them. The only thing I can tell myself is that its already paid for, I did what I can, and I cant change it now. If not Imma kill myself stressign over it

Yes!! And it's a major vendor! I haven't been able to shake the feeling that it's not going to go how I want it. He only took a 3% deposit and I haven't heard from him since. My friend used him before (like 10+ years ago) and tells me not to worry, but my gut keeps telling me to book someone else.

i was worried about a vendor the moment after we booked him!!! we didnt listen to our gut bc we didnt want to lose our deposit....and in the end he turned out to be great. was he perfect....no. but he was good and we are happy. my only thought (what we did for our vendor - but it also depends on what vendor this is)...is send him a veryyyy detailed list (email or print out and give it to him the day of the wedding)...so that he really cant f* up

YES! I am so worried about how my pictures/video are going to come out, and we couldn't afford to change vendors.

i had this feeling about our photographer and our band. both were very relaxed and nonchalant like you said. but inthe end, they both did a spectacular job and we couldn' thave been more happy with the end results!

I was fine with my florist until I had major issues with the sample CP's and the attitudes I was getting from them, but with a month until the wedding, I couldn't do anything at that point.

The week before the wedding I was getting nervous about all of the vendors.. I was a big ball of nerves & I was waiting for disaster!! But it all turned out great & all vendors showed up & did an AMAZINGGGG job!! Not one complaint about any of them!!

Yes, I am nervous about flowers but they've settled a bit. I've had several meetings with them and saw samples so I feel better.

YES!!!! so worried that we actually just booked a new DJ 2 1/2 weeks before our wedding.
we were super stupid. our dj asked for our balance about 3 weeks ago (yeah seriously and we gave it to him since FH actually KNOWS the guy from h.s.) and he then cashed our check that night (at like 11 pm) in a check cashing place. we have since tried to contact him and have been unable to do so (we need to go over stuff the hall needs to know and whatnot) and all his voice mailboxes are completely full and he's not responding to email. super shady.
we both knew we couldn't risk not having a dj, so we totally just went and booked a new one (thankfully there were a bunch available) that we know will come through for us and who's super on top of our questions and concerns.
i really wish i went with my gut a year and a half ago when we first met with him and i had this nagging feeling that it was a bad idea. lesson learned.
