Do you have a wedding website?

Just wondering how many brides/grroms are using this as in information highway for their guests? We are putting the information in our invites, but we're also putting it on our website, plus other information.

If you have a website, who did you go through? What kind of information are you putting on?

You can purchase a domain name for about $10, then you also have to have server to host your files.

We did ours using an open-source template from http://www.oswd.org/.

It was really popular with our guests.

I use totalchoicehosting.com to host my website. It's only $5 per month for hosting and then you pay $12 a year for domain registration. You do need to know a little bit about web development to do that. If you have something like Frontpage, it makes it pretty easy for someone who isn't familiar with web design to create a new site.

I'm on oswd.org now....looking through the different designs....this is so cool. I just hope that I will be able to complete it...looks a bit complicated??

if you have a HTML editor like FrontPage - it should be fairly easy for you to use the template and then adjust to your liking.

I just checked out ewedding.com...great site. This seems like it will be alot easier to navigate. Looking forward to staying up tonight working on this!! How exciting!!!

I bought a domain name thru yahoo, 3 years for $21. For web hosting, I used my verizon dsl account since I already pay for that. I just directed my domain name to the verizon website and the website was up and running. And I only spent $21! I highly recommend this option if anyone has verizon dsl.
