Do you have any quotes up in your office?

Here is a list of mine..some make me laugh,
some are reminders and some make me think. Please share yours!

I love deadlines!
I especially love the whooshing sounds they make as they go flying by.

Tell me what you need, and I'll tell you how to get along without it.

Accept that somedays you are the pigeon and some days the statue (I have also heard the version of: Accept that somedays you are the dog and some days the hydrant)

Needing someone is like needing a parachute. If they aren't there the first time, chances are you won't be needing them again.

Me reality cheque bounced.

One the keyboard of life, always keep one finger on the escape key.

I don't suffer from stress...I am a carrier

everybody is somebody else's weirdo

Never argue with an idiot! They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

A pat on the back is only a few centimeters away from a kick in the butt.

Don't be irreplaceable-
If you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted.

After any salary raise, you will have less money at the end of the month than you did before.

I have:

We cant become what we need to be by remaining what we are.

Both tears and sweat are salty, but they render a different result. Tears will get you sympathy, sweat will get you change.

It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it.

Sometimes you gotta do what you do wanna do in order to get where you wanna go.

I have

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Look for the extraordinary in the ordinary.

Remind yourself that your life begins now.

And...
Abuse an animal and go to jail.

Ours are a little over used:

Yesterday's History
Tomorrow's a Mystery
Today is a Gift
That's why we call it
'THE PRESENT'

'A Hug is the only gift you can give to EVERYONE'

We got the second one from a resident (I work in a Nursing Home)

We're a little quote challenged.

From my calendar for today:

Nature gave men two ends - one to sit on, and one to think with. Ever since then mans success or failure has been dependent on the one he used most.

The mark of genius is the ability to hold two diametrically opposed ideas at the same time without losing the ability to function. For example, one should be able to see that the situation is hopeless without losing the will to make it otherwise.
