i say no, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to programs.

imo, they are a nice touch, but not a necessity

You don't have to do programs. I am doing them b/c I want to. I bought the paper at AC Moore and the directions are in the package.

i just designed mine i bought the diy box at micheals and i got it for 22.00 with 40% off. it took me a while but i designed it. thank goodness some are so expensive.

do i think they will be missed at the church ... no, but it is a nice thing to have for the guests to follow

I am still debating on this also. I don't want to pay to get them done but I also don't think I want to do a DIY. Maybe if I find someone to do them at an affordable rate I will get them done.
