go BM dress shopping or can you just go in & try on dresses?

Make an appointment. If you have a few girls with you, you don't want to bombard them, and if it's already crowded it could make it harder for you.

I agree!

Especially if you end up wanting to try gowns on... Bridal Shops tend to get busy, I think it might be easier if you had an appointment for you and your BM's

I think you should call the store that you are going to ahead of time and find out their policy. I went to a few different shops, some took appts for BM, some didn't. If they do, then definitely make an appt.

every place I went to, I had to make one so I would call just to make sure, most places don't like surprises and they only have certain people working on certain days so, you don't want to show up & be ignored. I think the only place that allowed us to go try on bridesmaid dresses without an apt. was RK Bridal, but for wedding gowns, I think I had to make one.
