Do you have to use the colors

of your wedding for invites? I cannot find my colors for what I want. My colors, coral, white, and buttercream but Im having a hard time finding this. What other colors would you use.

I didnt- my colors are pink pink and more pink- however my invites are cream colored

I don't think so. My colors are purple and silver, and my invites were white with a pearl border. Most guests may not remember the invites by the time of the wedding, anyway!

Heck no! Use whatever colors you like for your invites! Your guests probably won't even remember the color anyways Don't stress too much about it though

You don't have to use your colors--are the wedding police going to come after you? Use what you like! But, if you really want to use your wedding colors, how about white or cream invitations, and use a coral ribbon as an accent? You can usually find ribbon in your color. I was able to choose navy ribbon with my invitations, but I also am going to buy a sheer ivory ribbon to add on. Why not, it's only money right?

you can get custom inks done if you really want everything to totally match.

Personally, I think it's not necessary... things can become too 'matchy' if everything is the same couple colors

I love purple, but having a fall wedding
I think I am doing purple invites

who cares

everything does NOT have to match at all
otherwise its too much

Any FALL brides doing purple? or am I crazy>>t

I tried, but it limited me to only a few that weren't even that great. Order what you like, by the time the wedding comes no one will even remember or care.

when it comes to things like wedding colors you don't HAVE to do ANYTHING!

I don't even really have wedding colors. My bridesmaids dresses are sapphire blue. My flowers will be blue hydrangeas, orange roses, hot pink baby roses, yellow lilies, and these purple-ish spikey things that I don't have a name for. My invitations will be silver and black. As long as you like it, and you like how it looks, who cares?

fall wedding does NOT mean you have to do orange, red, brown, etc.
It seems a bit silly to me that people think that... the only reason you would is if you want to have flowers that are in season, as those are the colors that are in season - but with the miracle of hothouses and overnight shipping, your florist can get pretty much anything.

I'm october. My flowers are blue, yellow, hot pink, and a sort of hot orange. Do what makes you happy!

My wedding is in September and I'm doing everything black and pink. My FMIL thinks it's crazy, but I don't care. I always wanted black and pink and that's what I'm going to have! Go for the purple!! You'll be glad you did 25 years from now.

My colors are similar: Mango Ivory and gold...

My invites though will be White gold(ivory with a told tone) and gold- with brown writing.

my colors are pink and we didnt use them for the invites. the envelope is pearl lined and the ink is grey.....they are white so we stuck to the basics.

My color is celedon and ivory but my invitations are brown and ecru, don't worry about it, no one's going to bring the invitation to the wedding and go OH MY GOD the theme color doesn't match the invite. Do whatever you think is best it's your day. ENJOY
