DO YOU HAVE TO WEAR A BLUSHER?? YOUR THOUGHTS....WITH A POLL TOO!!

I got my 2 tier veil today and thought I would use the top layer as my blusher (although I really didn't want to use one), and long story short, I don't like the way it looks over my face. Has anyone else felt that way? Do you think it's a must do?

I plan on wearing one, but I don't think that you HAVE to wear one. It's one of those things that you can choose to wear or not to wear. If you don't want to, and you don't like the way it looks, the don't worry about not having a blusher.

I think that my rabbi will; 'make' me wear one. I have yet to talk to him about that. I do not mind wearing it.

It's all about what YOU want to do. I never (even when I was youngser) saw myself wearing a blusher to keep my face hidden. What is your preference? Remember - YOUR DAY, YOUR CHOICE!

I wanted a blusher but my mom is harrassing me not too use it.. My stepdad too..They think its old fashioned. I haven't bought a blusher veil.. If I do use a blusher it will be the second tier to my veil.

Im not wearing one.. Im lucky I can walk in a straight line without falling let alone with a peice of fabric over my face LOL

my mom is crazy to have me wear the blusher so i did it to make her happy...she has a vision of having my dad giving me away lifting the blusher and giving me a kiss

i really hate the blusher and the way it feels in front of my face anyways here's a pic

Yep, its a blusher for me. Its all about the look/ tradition you're going for. I love the look in pics so thats what I'm going for

I still haven't decided yet. I guess it depends on how it looks on me and with the dress...hmmm....decisions decisions.

like some of the other girls, i like the idea of having my Dad lift it and giving me away with the gesture. i don't mind the look its only over your head for a few moments.

This is the same reason why I have agreed to use a blusher. My veil actually comes with an extra peice which is the blusher and then you can just remove it.

Thanks...and that's what I thought. For one, i am no blushing bride, I have a 4 yr old, 2) why pay all that money on hair and makeup if people can't see it at it's best before i start bawling? and 3)I don't just cuz!!

At least I'm not alone, I spoke to my cousin who got married 2 yrs ago and she didn't and her rationale was the same as all of ours. I think my mom might prefer it, but like you all said...'IT IS MY DAY!!'

That's what I thought too but the 2nd tier looks either lopsided or it does this pinch in the middle of my face.
