You should definitely include directions to the hall .... in fact, your hall should give direction cards to you for free (they won't necessarily match your invitations though!)

Most churches don't have direction cards. So, you have two options:

1 - make direction cards to get your guests to the church
(if you go this route, you could even make a 2 sided card with the church on the front and the hall on the back)

2 - put the street address of the church on your invitations and let your guests figure it out themselves

I created my own directions to the church and to the hall... Pippy Sweets did them actually... what I did was gave directions to the church and then from the church to the hall.

I did include directions to the catering hall (provided by the Watermill) and I typed out directions to the church and printed them on post cards (AVERY PRODUCT) to make them look better than a piece of paper. It was easy and cheap. I also included the hotel card with the reservation information, directions to the hotel and all that which was provided by the Hilton.

our RH gave us direction cards and then we made our own directions to the church and printed them on cardstock to make them more sturdy

Yes, I did the above as well. Typed them all myself. Lot fo work, but worth it.

Yes I did. I am also making fresh copies for those people who will be staying at the hotel to go in the out of town bags.

I was wondering the same thing. But I like this idea. I also heard of having ushers hand them out at the ceremony with programs because people tend to leave there directions home.

I was wondering the same thing. But I like this idea. I also heard of having ushers hand them out at the ceremony with programs because people tend to leave there directions home.


We also had extra on hand at the church too

yes, we will include the map in the invitations provided by our hall.

Ceremony and reception were at the same place.

I included the directions. I took the direction from my RH's website and put them on nice paper and trim them to size.

Your RH may be them ready already. You should ask them.

church ones i made on my own

reception hall gave them to me (they have them pre-printed.

also hotel information was also inserted with invites as well as directions to hotel
