do you invite all the women that you invite to the wedding to the shower too?
I was wondering, if we are supposed to invite all the women that are going to be invited to the wedding to the shower as well?
for the wedding, i have a 175 min. and we will be working on the guest list soon- we may have to stretch to reah our min too.
whats the ettiquite for shower invites? do we invite the main people or more or less all the women invited to the wedding?

Yes...I think so. However, a lot of the women are OOT so they def won't be coming...it's ok though

I'm not inviting ALL the women to the shower that's invited to the wedding. Some of them are work so I think they're going to throw me a shower in the office and some of the girls are my friend's girlfriends or wives. I'm close with a lot of guys so I can't make their women feel uncomfortable. Mainly it's my BM's, family and closest friends.

Good Lord NO! Well at least not in my case..I really wanted a small shower, no more than 50 people (which I know isn't really that small). We're having about 200 guests. I told my mom, FMIL and BM's that only close people are to be invited. I cut out my work friends, female cousin in-laws, parents friends, ect. My BM's were very happy about this but mom and FMIL..not so much. Oh well.
I just prefer a more intimate group and didn't want my BM's paying a fortune for a big gathering.

oh gosh i hope not, alot of people from my church are coming to my BS but everyone is not invited to the wedding...i cant afford all those people

I am not inviting all the women to the shower. The shower, in my opinion, should be small.

I don't think my sister will be doing that for me primarily just close family and friends and if any of his cousins are married their wives or fiances.

no, not ALL the women... just your family, his family, and your friends.... basically people you've had over for dinner.....
there are likely several girlfriends/wives of guests, and FH friends that I wouldn't invite....

I am not having all the women from the wedding at my shower...I want only family and my friends to be there. I dont know my fh's friends girlfriends, so there is no reason for them to be there...I would think if you dont know the person that well, you wouldnt be upset if you werent invited.

We're not inviting all of the women invited to the wedding. Mostly local family and friends. I actually made the list tonight...about 65 people
