DO YOU KEEP A JOURNAL?

I always wanted one but never got around to starting one.

I usually write in it when i am really happy or really upset. It helps
me calm down and work things out.

i used to write in mine almost every day or every couple of days, at night, just to write about my day and get out my anxieties. but since i kind of have all of my stuff at home but live with fh, i dont' get to write in it too much. i also used to keep a food journal that i wrote everything i ate down in it. that helped a lot!

Ive kept a journal since I started HS - Ive gone through dozens of them already. But the last 4 years (since Ive been with FH) Ive only filled one. I guess its because theres not much drama with guys going on!

I don't keep one. I could never remember to or find the time. Remember when Doogie Howser, MD wrote in his computer journal every day?

Holy crap!!! I dont know why but the Doogie Howser thing is making me laugh!!!!!!!!

I kept a diary once.
My mother tore my lock off and read it (stepmonster) found out how angry I was about stuff I was pretty much just venting about.

I got in trouble, but that didnt really bother me. I as truthful afterall, nothing like I want rip her head off, just sort of telling my side of the story. But since then I NEVER kept a journal.

I used to have a journal but not anymore!! I used to write about old boyfriends, fights with friends, everyday drama when u were in middle school!!

My mother and her husband actually read mine too at one time - it was a horrible thing to have gone through!

But ever since then everything is in 'code'.

I used to but stopped about 5 years ago. I love to look at it from time to time and laugh at myself silly immature self. Some of the enties from when I was 13-14 years old and totally boy crazy were so funny. 'He borrowed a pen from me... he loves me and I love him!'

i used to keep one in high school. I go back to read it and I cant believe it was me. Such drama with the boys! It makes me laugh. I would like to keep a journal again.

yes, since third grade!

I have two types...one is a journal just for me. I write about work, stress, etc....
The other DH and I share. It is a vacation journal. Everytime we go somewhere we write about each day of our trip. I usually do the writing, but we come up with it together. It is fun to look back on!

I had one but it was more like short fiction stories. But fh found it and thought the stories were real and then winded up throwing it out. We had a huge fight about that one!

I used to years ago, high school etc but now Im so afraid someone would find it it stops me, Im terrified of anyone knowing some certain inner things and I actually get more upset somestimes when I try ot write things out...LOL

i do and have been keeping one since jr high. i think its great to be able to look back on the things that i wrote and felt way back then.
