I need intelligence lighting from my DJ? I am using BodyRock and the woman seemed mortified when I declined the intelligence lighting for my wedding. Do I really need it? I have no idea what it is and it is an extra $800 to $1000. If you girls think I should have it, I will definitely do it, I just want to make sure that I am not being swindled!!!

Having an decent amount of knowledge about the I-lights I don't think its really necessary. Yeah their nice but the main downside to them is those that are sitting at the tables or happen to be looking in that direction as the light passes them will get a very bright light in their face. Think of when you go to a concert and the lights flash past your face. Now imagine a much smaller version of that with your guests.

Thank you so much! Will the dance floor look 'blah' if I don't get them? I also figured that since my wedding is on one of the longest days of the year, it won't even get dark until 9:00ish so will people even notice them?
