Do you know if the cherry blossoms are out in Brooklyn Botanical Gardens?

I want to take some pictures there for our slideshow. It's been really cold lately.

I was wondering if they are 'out' yet.

We are trying to take and gather some last pictures for our slideshow. We have a lot of pictures but most of them are either us looking straight into the camera or kissing. Nothing else.

We don't have enough pictures that look 'natural'.

So what do we do?

Go plan to take posed natural pictures! haha

I know the exhibit had opened. I just wasn't sure if the flowers would have blossomed yet bc it's been cold. And they haven't!

I'm going to watch this site and go when the blossoms are in full bloom. I will also avoid April 28-29.

hmmmm I would really love to attend the festival. At the same time, I don't want a million people in the background of our pictures either.

Our wedding is 6 weeks away. We don't have spare days to just hang out either. Everything is so strategic now. haha

They were out when i visited DC last week, so they should be out or just ready to bloom any day now :)

Cherry Blossoms are soooo pretty. My RH has one in their gardens. I am gettin married the first of June, I hope its still there. I would love to take pics under it

maybe if you call them to see what time of day they're busiest? or perhaps they'll be nice enough to sneak you in an hour or so before it opens to take pictures?? not sure how strict they are...

It has been cold this year!!....But this is definitely their time to bloom, so hopefully they're not late!

I was there with FH on Thursday and a couple of trees were, not a lot though. On the Brooklyn Botanical Garden Website there is a link that will show you which trees are in bloom
