I really don't like her that much I used to but she is worse than MArie Barone on Everyone loves Raymond. That is a round about way of putting it without really venting

fmil does not speak perfect english, but we get by. i think shes great. she thinks im the bees knees.

although, without the language barrier, she might change her mind! ha.

My fmil also doesnt speak perfect english- we do communicate though- she is very thoughtful and helpful but she is not my mom by far! I have my issues with her and things i dont agree with but really its none of my business...so i shouldnt care- she really gives us our space , and FH is very close to his mom... we get along well... i love her, but she cant compare to my mom- which i usually do (in my own head not to FH)

I got very lucky too, his parents are a lot like mine!! She calls me the daughter she never had!!!

His entire family has been nothing but great to us, they have even given us engagement gifts, which kind of makes me feel crappy since FH is wondering why my family hasn't given us any.....(it's just not a thing for us!)
