I haven't seen many gold wedding bands / engagement rings in a while, but my friends and I were talking about it the other day so I figured I'd make this up ha

Personally, I hate gold. Always did idk why!

I wanted yellow gold because it's more common in the UK (where I'm from) and it's what I was used to. FH didn't like the yellow and wanted white, so he got me platinum and I was sooooo OK with that

For my wedding ring I knew I wanted white gold or platinum since it matches more with the jewelry I usually wear

I do love yellow gold jewelry in the summer when I'm nice and tan

I'd rather have white gold, all my jewelry is white, except for my engagement ring (duh on the part of FI). But there is a good side of this, the wedding bands we want are both white and yellow.

I used to wear yellow gold when i was in hs but now i only wear white gold.

Def white gold, although I would probably find it a hassle having to get it re-dipped periodically. That's why platinum is for me.

i know when i was younger all the way through my teenage years (that makes me sound so old!) yellow gold was really big...then it changed to white gold.
my e-ring is platinum, but either way i would have gone for white

mine rings are white gold.....fh wanted yellow gold bc hes a hardcore italian w/ the yellow gold figaro chain, bracelet, and he has a 2 tone movado so the yellow gold went best

I always wore yellow gold I have a jewelry box full of it lol it's funny how white gold is so popular now. Since my grandma got sick and passed away 4 years ago though, I do wear the yellow gold hearts ring with little diamonds in each heart that we got her years ago. It makes me feel like she's with me everyday, I miss her so much
