Do you like these BM dresses??

I was at Davids today, and saw these, and I really like them.. DO YOU? Should I suggest them to my girls, or are they horrid..

to be completely honest (please don't hate me for saying it!!!!)... i don't like them. on the first one, i'm not a fan of the flower. on the second one, i'm not crazy about the thingy around the waist...

Your too cute.. I wouldn't have asked, if I didn't want an honest opinion.. I don't want the girls to look at me like I'm a nut with bad taste, so I asked you girls first..

I like the concept of the 2 diff. dresses. i dont know what your BMs etc. look like. but I wouldnt have been able to put my girls in either of those.

just thought i would share how i did it, because my BMs are so different in shape, size, etc.

I picked the designer, Bill Levkoff
I picked the color, Black Euro Satin
I said no beadwork
They picked whatever dress they wanted.
My sis, the MOH, is wearing a bill levkoff with black satin on the bottom and white satin on top.

FG is wearing a white tulle ball gown, like my dress

I like the first dress - esp. the way it shows off the waist.

However, I'd hesitate getting black (at least for mygirls) since everyone else will be wearing that color and the girls should stand out. (Plus it's a wedding and black is too stern.)

The first one is cute-it's got a kinda old fashioned look(maybe it's the models hair), but I can't picture it on a bridal party. Not crazy about the 2nd but that's just me.

The first one is cute (without the flower)....but the second one is not very nice. You'll definitely run into problems if your girls are a bit overweight or have any belly on them because of the way the ribbon sits so high above the waist----it won't be very flattering at all. JMHO, of course.....but that's why I love this board---honesty.

I honestly think that the model in #2 looks like she has a little belly in that dress because of the ribbon around the waist. I don't know what your bms look like but if they're at all normal women as opposed to stick thin, very tall models, I can't imagine it would flatter them any more than it does the model. JMHO.

I like them.... I think it's a nice idea to have different dresses. My MOH and JBM have different dresses from my bridesmaids.

I'm sorry but I agree. If you're really set on choosing one of the two I would choose #2. Do your bridesmaids like them? Maybe you could let them choose. Good luck!

ETA: Just read the S&M thing! Now that's what you'll think of if they wear tat one!
