I have my cousins communion on Saturday. Do you like this?? Do you think it is pretty to give an 8 year old for her communion?? Or do you think I should just give a check??
I just want to add, that these people are very well off, so money really means nothing to them. I thought a gift would be a bit more personal!!
I am going to a communion on the 8th. We are giving money but the necklace is very pretty

I love the tanzanite cross, but would be hesitant. That is a common gift for communions, maybe her parents or another family member will get it.
How about a bond? or a gift cert to a cool little girls store?

That is what I was thinking. It is a common thing to receive a cross on your communion day!! Oh well, back to the drawing board. We are probably going to end up giving cash. I just wanted to give something a bit more personal. I think its too late to get a bond, don't you have to mail away for them??

You can go to the bank and get a bond. Just get the childs SSN to fill out on the form and the address as to where it should be mailed.
