Hello everyone, I'm considering buying these earrings as Day of jewelry...they're costume jewelry, but I think they're really pretty even if they're not real. I don't have my dress yet, but I think these can go with any dress, no?
Edit: they arent really my style and wouldnt go with my dress but if your dress has some sparkle in it i think they can look nice

I think they are very pretty, they have an antique look. I am sure a lot of people wear costume. I probably will too and I def want something antiquish. If you don't end up wearing them the day of, then you still have a nice pair of earings.

Just reread and realized you didnt find a dress yet. I would hold off on the jewelry until you find your dress. my dress is more simple than glitzy and i dont think they would go

good point...but they are fairly inexpensive, so it wouldn't be the end of the world if I didn't wear them if they don't go...so many decisions...

if they arent expensive and you'd like them with other outfits (i think they'd look cool with a dressy black top and jeans) then go ahead. however, if they were expensive and you only planned to wear them with your dress i'd wait.

these were my thoughts exactly, you may wind up with a dress that really does not work with the earrings...

I think with something like that even if they dont go with your dress, you can still end up wearing them another time when you dress up, they are pretty and versatile like that.....

they say 'the jewlery makes the dress' so i would probably hold off on the earrings until you found your dress
if they are inexpensive get them-you can always wear them out!

thanks for all the advice...i was worried everyone was going to say they're awful! i found them on an ebay store and i had sent an email to the seller asking about the length...she just replied that they're 2.5 inches long, and with shipping & handling they'll cost about $11, so maybe they're worth buying now...they could be my cat's christmas gift to me
