Do you like this color paint for walls?

I want to do the house an off-white color like one of these w/ a medium beige rug. Does anyone know a paint color name similar to this? Thanks!

Best thing to do...go to home depot and get some of the paint samples. Then you can play around and which which colors you like best. They're free...take as many as you want! Good luck.

BTW...those pictures are georgous!

There's so many shades of one color, it's crazy!

I know! Its also hard to tell how it will look from the little swatch so thats why I wanted to know if anyone had a good color they used and liked. I'm sure I will find something I like.

Look for Bone white, that's what the color is reminding me of. A hint of cream...

I always come home with paint chips from home depot...in hopes that we will finally paint something....I've got a collection of about 100 or so...and we haven't painted 1 room since we moved in. It's all still 'white'. I hate it!

Yes...of course, most people say that everything should be white when you sell...which is why everything is white when we bought. I wanted to paint a few rooms...just haven't gotten around to it yet. FH wants to move soon after we're married (maybe a year), so he doens't want to paint now...only to have to paint back to white a year from now when we try to sell (I have a condo). So...who knows!

Really? I never heard of the white paint thing. I guess who wants a house w/ colors all over that they dont like? Good point. Keeping it white is a good idea for you for now.

We just bought a house and heard the same thing... I think it's because it's easier to paint over white... as opposed to a color like red or something. I don't care though... I'm so tired of living in white walls all my life... I'm painting these walls COLORS!!!

Also look for a linen whie...it is a softer color like you are looking for..more of a beige tint to it. we used it in the bedroom and it gives a nice glow when the sun shines in!

I have a color similar to that. It's by Benjamin Moore called Dove Tail. At first I didn't like it when I painted a little strip on the wall, but after I painted the whole room it looked great.

We used a color that looks very similar to your pictures- it's from Behr- called Weathered Sandstone.

I have similar colors. I believe they are Spanish White and Vellum. I bought them at lowes and I 'believe' they are baer

Look into Navajo White by Benjamin Moore. It is similar to Marth Stuart's Muslin but of a much better quality. It is an awesome neutral that goes well with most everything. You can go to a local True Value for the swatch. Let me know what you think!!
