I was thinking a lighter wood. White is kind of girly don't you think? This converts to a toddler bed and then to a headboard so it will be around for a longtime. I don't want my son to complain about his girly white bed

I like it. Can you get it in beige kind of wood? A bit darker than white but not as dark?

I like light wood myself, that's what I got for Lukie but I like that crib in the color shown, very elegant. I think the color shows it off better and certain beddings would look gorgeous with that wood. I like the fold down side too

Very nice, and especially in a lighter wood!! Where are you getting your furniture from? I have to get out to Behr's to order mine because the guy told me it takes 12 weeks, plus they add 4 weeks since Italian manufacturers close down the month of August -- so that leaves 16 weeks -- and Hello, I'm due in 17!!!! I thrive on this pressure, I tell ya!
