Actually, the dress doesn't appeal to me. I find the waves of material distracting to my eye - I've looked at the pic several times and I haven't once noticed the model's face. I think that the bottom of the dress is very busy and overpowering. JMO.

I think it is pretty, but I was in LOVE with a similar style & when I took my stepmom back to see it she said I looked 4 sizes bigger than I am!!! I was so in love with the fabric & the style & the saleslady REALLY wanted me to buy it-I'm so glad I got another opinion. Bring someone with you to be sure, I'm sure you have a lovely shape, but there may be a style that's even more flattering. JMHO

I like the bodice, but don't like the skirt. I also find it distracting.

I tried it on and I think it looked nice but it wasn't my taste only because I don't like dresses that have a bigger skirt. But everyone I tried it on for LOVED it. They said it looked like a real princess dress. I think it's a beautiful dress and if I liked a bigger skirt I would have bought it! Good luck! It's very different and I'm sure it looks great on you!

To be honest, I'm not all that fond of the skirt either. But if you could pull it off, it may look quite nice.

I think the top of the dress is very pretty, but I'm not crazy about the skirt. This is just my opinion, if you love it and it looks great on, than that is what really matters though.

Its a beautiful dress but not my style.. I say--If you like it --thats all that counts! Just make sure that when you try it on--you sit in it & move around to see how it feels

I'm not a huge fan of the skirt, either. You have to go with what's in your heart - if you love it - that's all that matters!!!!!!

Just a note....a dropped waist is actually very very flattering to those with a bit of a belly. My gown is straight drop waist with a full ball skirt, and by no means do I have a perfectly flat tummy...it flattered me much much more than the other styles!

I think if the gown looks great on you, if you feel great in it..go for it! I think it's gorgeous, very elegant.

Totally. Especially because it's strapless, eyes go right to your face, not your waist! A ball skirt with a dropped waist gives the illusion of an hourglass figure. I love it!
