I tried on ball gowns as well...I'm average height 5'3...and I found it very hard to carry a ballgown...as far as the weight of the dress...while it did look nice on me...the a-line dresses flattered me much more...most importantly which one do YOU like??It is your wedding

that dress is so pretty, but the decision is up to you, you have to wear, private label also have another dress similar but A-line that might look better on you

I luv that dress. sorry but i dont have any advice though, as i have not started dress shopping myself. i am really really short myself... i am five feet tall barely and i am worried to death about how ridiculous i will look in a wedding dress. and in the pictures next to my 6 foot fiance ---that is why i am beginning my search for five inch heels.

it's beautiful but the key quesktion is how sdo you feel in it? I'm 4 11 and my dress has a full skirt but a very fitted bodice...strapless...cant fin dpicture of it to post...but it's a big skirt...but gradualy from teh hips...not a gathered skirt..

me too! I am 4'10''-4'11'' and I picked an A-line because it made me look taller and my waist smaller. I love the dress though! Try it on and see how it feels. Walk around. If it is too heavy, then don't get it. You have to be comfy!

Well I am partial bc that is my dress!!!!! I am only 5'4 & I didn't feel short & stumpy in it at all...Actually I am not wearing a slip under the dress which in turns does not make it as full as a ballgown!! I absolutely fell in love with the dress!!
