Do you list 'Parents of the Bride and Groom' in your ceremony program?

Do you list 'Parents of the Bride and Groom' in your ceremony program?

We're already listing my parents, my FH's mom and her boyfriend as those presenting the gifts during the ceremony, but we're not listing them as 'parents' in that section of the program.

Do we do a separate listing of parents, and leave out my FH's mom's boyfriend and include his late father as 'The late Mr. Anthony. CXXXX'?

Yes we did at the top of the 3rd page of the program:

Celebrant:
Father Bill Hanson

Parent's of Bride:
William and Karen xxxx

Parent's of Groom:
Robert and Grace xxxx

You could list the deceased parent the same way as:

Parent's of Groom:
Living parent name and the late so and so

What happens if your mother passed away, and father is not in picture? Do I just not have that section for me? Or do I put my mother's name, and put something next to it saying here in spirit or something???

You could say:
Parent of Bride:
The late, great so and so.

I would make sure to mention your mother in some way - I know Goldi1021 lost her father right before her wedding and she had one page devoted to her father that said:
In memory of:
Father's name

You could do that for your mother.

DH's mom passed away so in the program we explained that the memory candle was in her honor. We listed her right under my parent's names.

DH's father isn't in the picture and hasn't been for quite some time, we didn't mention him at all.

So did he list his mother under Parents of Groom then? Did you explain about the candle in that spot too or on a memorial page?

We are gonna have a memorial page for her too, but this post made me realize that I don't know what to put under parents of the bride.

We did the same thing.

our parents walked us down the aisle, so in our program we did:

GroomsName and Father and Mother's Name
Groom and his parents

BridesName and Father and Mother's Name
Bride and her parents

I don't have a copy of my program with me right now, but this is pretty much what we did.

The Memorial Candle is in honor of the Groom's mother, Ann Johnson
Standing in her honor is the Groom's aunt, Mary Smith
Parents of the Bride: Jane and John Doe

We didn't do a memorial page bc we wanted the memorial to really focus on her but I didn't want to make it too upsetting to him and his family either. And you don't have to have anyone stand in their honor, we just did that bc we wanted to thank his aunt for all of her love and support, so we made something special for her.

I like that alot, my sisters are walking me down, so I could put their names there, with that wording. I actually think I like that more than a memorial page too, because I don't want all my mother's side relatives to get upset, plus sisters and I are carrying the lockets w/her pic inside. Thanks so much for that idea
